H&O Movie Review: Winter’s Bone

Real, raw, haunting, and intense. This story based in a poor, rural area of the Ozarks follows a young girl who is force to fend for herself and her family under the strong influence of a meth based community. As she tries to find her father in order to save her family’s land, she struggles to survive and discover the truth.

Winter’s Bone is so dark and raw. The movie truly captures the real people and surroundings that exist in the United States. Its powerful and eerily evocative. The story is interesting and captivating.

H&O’s Official Rating: 8.5
